Meet Batman! A 52 lb, 1.5 yr old, black & white, well-toned, pittie boy. He is lovely. He is kind. And he earns the distinction of HAPPIEST dog! Nothing stands between Batboy and his smile.

Batman came in as a stray with a severe injury (all healed now), stressed and unsure of everything. He SO appreciates human love & kindness and has more than you know to give back in return. Batman has been phenomenal and well behaved on all his field trips and overnights in homes. He is an easy dog to have around who will follow you around and make you smile, walks great even on a short leash & redirects well when he does get distracted. He is 100% potty trained. He treasures his Kong toy and loves to play fetch with it. He is not so good releasing it, but I have a secret trick for that :).

Batman has not had the opportunity to learn any commands but even so, he has had free roam of a house for short periods and has been VERY well behaved. He would love to be on the bed or couch by your side. Batman is good with dogs with proper intros. He shouldn’t be around aggressive or dominant dogs because he has nipped back once in defense. He has not displayed any dominant behavior himself, it was a defensive reaction. I imagine he may thrive as an only dog only because he ADORES human attention so much but NOT necessary - he can live with other respectable dogs (all sizes) just fine! He has not been cat tested.

Batman overall is a great combo of couch lounger and playmate - he’ll adapt to what YOU are in the mood for. He jumps only initially when he is excited to see you but calms quickly. Batman would excel with even a little training and has therapy dog potential. Do you have room in your heart and home for this loving, snuggly pibble.
